As a Head of Treaty Division, your main responsibilities will include:
  • Lead and oversee end-to-end treaty reinsurance operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, underwriting discipline, and service quality.
  • Drive continuous improvement across systems, processes, and workflows to support scalable and sustainable growth.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with cedants, brokers, and partners to grow the treaty portfolio.
  • Lead the negotiation and finalization of treaty agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms that align with company objectives.
  • Strengthen the company's market positioning by maintaining active engagement with the reinsurance market and representing the company in industry forums.
  • Analyze treaty performance and reinsurance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to support portfolio profitability and long-term strategic planning.
  • Monitor claims trends, loss ratios, and underwriting performance to inform future treaty structuring and pricing decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments (e.g., underwriting, finance, claims, actuarial) and external partners to ensure seamless execution of treaty arrangements.
  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with cedants and brokers.
