Procurement Supervisor - Mining

- Lead and supervise day-to-day procurement activities, ensuring alignment with company policies and project requirements
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers of spare parts, particularly for Chinese mining equipment brands
- Develop and maintain a reliable vendor database (local and overseas), including OEMs, authorized distributors, and alternative suppliers
- Monitor market trends, pricing, and availability of spare parts to optimize cost and ensure supply stability
- Coordinate with maintenance, warehouse, and operations teams to identify spare part requirements and ensure timely delivery
- Manage purchase orders, contracts, and agreements, ensuring compliance with procurement standards
- Conduct supplier performance evaluations, focusing on quality, lead time, after-sales service, and warranty support
- Oversee logistics and customs clearance processes for imported spare parts
- Mentor and guide junior procurement staff to strengthen the team's technical and commercial capabilities
- Prepare regular procurement reports, cost analyses, and savings initiatives for management review
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of procurement experience in the mining or heavy equipment industry.
- Strong knowledge of mining equipment spare parts, particularly Chinese brands
- Proven negotiation and supplier management skills
- Familiarity with import regulations, Incoterms, and customs clearance
- Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English; Mandarin is an advantage.
