- Inspect and analyze vessel conditions to confirm they are in optimal working order and in compliance with all marine regulations.
- Monitor and examine ship performance documents to provide timely overviews.
- Monitor and analyze all documents and reports for cargo loading, discharge, and other commercial shipping activities.
- Coordinate negotiations with ship owners on commercial issues like hire rates and bonuses, ensuring all arrangements meet company requirements.
- Review and inspect all shipping contracts, including charter agreements, to ensure they align with company policies and terms.
- Obtain and ensure the completeness of all necessary permits and documents for shipping spot cargo.
- Coach and develop subordinates to improve their skills and work efficiency.
- Enforce QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) regulations to minimize risk and ensure compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, maritime, or logistics
- A Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas shipping industry.
- Demonstrated coaching and leadership skills.
- Strong abilities in analysis, judgment, and planning, along with a knack for building positive partnerships.
- Expertise in contractual agreements, with a solid grasp of nautical operations, maritime law, industrial law, and shipping regulations.
- Proven negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in English is essential.
