Associate Director - Technical (General Insurance)

Lead and oversee the Technical Division, covering Claims, Underwriting, and Product Proposition.
Define and execute strategies to ensure technical excellence, profitability, and sustainable growth.
Drive product innovation and proposition to meet market needs and strengthen competitive positioning.
Ensure claims and underwriting processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with risk appetite and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with distribution, finance, and other business units to support commercial strategies and drive business performance.
Monitor market trends, customer behaviors, and competitor strategies to inform product and technical direction.
Build and develop a high-performing technical team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.

Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Business, Finance, or related fields; professional insurance qualifications (AAMAI and/or ANZIFF) and Risk Management (QRGP / QCRO) highly preferred.
Minimum 15 years of experience in the general insurance industry, with a proven track record in claims, underwriting, and product management.
Strong strategic mindset with ability to balance commercial priorities and operational discipline.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to influence business direction through data-driven insights and market intelligence.
Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
