  • Act as the go-to legal advisor within the company for all LNG project-related legal matters.
  • Provide end-to-end legal support on project development, execution, and delivery-including structuring, compliance, and risk management.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of project agreements including LNG SPAs, EPC contracts, GSAs, JOAs, procurement agreements, and joint venture arrangements.
  • Ensure legal compliance with Indonesian regulations and applicable international standards across all project stages.
  • Provide legal support for tender preparation and submission, including drafting/reviewing tender documentation and ensuring regulatory alignment.
  • Advise on procurement strategies within the consortium, ensuring contractual protection and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, consortium partners, external counsel, and government agencies (e.g. MEMR, SKK Migas).
  • Monitor evolving regulatory landscapes and assess impact on the project; proactively flag risks and propose mitigation.
  • Support any consortium-level alignment and dispute resolution as needed, ensuring constructive partnership dynamics.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships across consortium legal teams and contribute to joint legal strategy development.

  • Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB); Indonesian bar admission preferred. Postgraduate or international legal qualification is a plus.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in legal for energy, LNG, or infrastructure projects, ideally involving multi-party or consortium structures.
  • Strong experience in procurement, contract negotiation, and legal risk management for large-scale projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of Indonesian energy laws and regulatory frameworks, including MEMR, SKK Migas, and relevant government bodies.
  • Proven ability to manage complex negotiations and navigate public-private or multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
  • Collaborative, strategic thinker with strong commercial and diplomatic acumen.
