- Manage end-to-end immigration processes: KITAS, IMTA, RPTKA, e-Visa applications, and renewals in coordination with vendors and government bodies.
- Ensure timely compliance with Indonesian immigration and manpower regulations.
- Act as the primary liaison with expats regarding legal documentation and mobility logistics.
- Administer monthly payroll for expatriates, including tax equalization, shadow payroll, and gross-up calculations.
- Coordinate with Finance/Tax/Vendor teams to ensure accurate and compliant reporting of income tax (PPh 21/26).
- Stay abreast of international assignment tax structures, treaty implications, and local compliance obligations.
- Develop and implement SOPs, templates, and policies related to expatriate management.
- Maintain accurate and secure expat records and documentation.
- Prepare regular compliance reports and risk assessments relating to global mobility and employment law.
- Work cross-functionally with HR, Legal, Finance, and third-party vendors (immigration agents, tax advisors, relocation providers).
- Provide guidance and support to expatriates throughout the entire assignment lifecycle (onboarding to repatriation).
- Ensure a positive expatriate experience while balancing legal compliance and company policy.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5- 7 years of experience in expatriate formalities and global mobility.
- Strong understanding of Indonesian labor law, tax regulations, and immigration processes.
- Hands-on experience in administering expatriate payroll and personal income tax.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to design systems, policies, and reporting structures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; professional fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Experience in a multinational company or consulting firm is a strong advantage.
