Merger and Acquisition Manager, Manufacturing Company

• Perform thorough analysis of potential investment opportunities, including market research, financial modeling, and due diligence to assess their strategic fit and financial viability.
• Create comprehensive investment proposals outlining strategic rationale, financial projections, and risk assessments to present to senior management and key stakeholders.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate potential synergies and integration opportunities, ensuring alignment with overall strategic objectives.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and competitive landscape to identify strategic investment opportunities and make recommendations for action.
• Assist senior management in strategic decision-making processes related to mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, providing insights and recommendations based on thorough analysis.
• Keep detailed records of investment analysis and decision-making processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve investment analysis processes and methodologies, driving efficiency and effectiveness in decision-making.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required. An MBA or other advanced degree is considered a strong advantage, providing additional depth of knowledge and strategic insight.
• 8 - 12 years of progressive experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or a related field, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions. This experience should include a demonstrated ability to lead and execute complex transactions.
• Experience working in a top-tier consulting firm is highly desirable, as it demonstrates a strong analytic background, strategic thinking, and the ability to deliver impactful results in a dynamic environment.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, with a deep understanding of financial concepts and analysis techniques. Proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools is essential.
• High level of analytical aptitude with the ability to analyse complex information and draw actionable insights, is critical for success in this role.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to senior management and key stakeholders.
• Collaborative team player, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams and build consensus around strategic initiatives.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
