- Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies to reduce raw material costs while maintaining quality and supply reliability.
- Applying the Total Delivered Cost (TDC) sourcing process tool and skill to execute the sourcing initiative
- Work and collaborate with the Regional Category team to execute global/regional sourcing strategies
- Ensure the consistent supply-ability and resolve the unforeseen shortage with timely reasonable contingency plan.
- Cross-functional collaboration to execute the best sourcing strategies to drive savings, resiliency and operation efficiency improvement
- Understand Indonesia market insights, commodity price tendency and determine the appropriate procurement tactics for strategic raw material, packages, etc.
- Develop the update procurement procedure and manage existing suppliers’ agreements or commercial proposal(s).
- Sourcing alternative sources that contribute to saving value, supply security and recommending the best preferred supplier(s) for Ecolab.
- Continuously utilize the market intelligence tools and monitor market information and feedstock trends within the direct categories.
- Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities such as cost savings to the management
- Develop Continuous Improvement Programs on a yearly basis
- Ensure full corporate procurement compliance and ethics with all applicable regulatory and standards.
- Maintain strict adherence to the Code of Conduct (COC) policy.
- Min Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing, Engineering, Chemistry, Supply Chain Management
- Min Experience 5 years in the Chemical industry in Direct Procurement is a plus
- Strong Negotiation and Contract Management skills
- Excellent Analytical and Problem-Solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good English language skills both oral and written is a must.
