- Advise sponsors, developers, government bodies, and financiers on the full lifecycle of infrastructure and energy projects, including structuring, bidding, financing, construction, and operation.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of project-related contracts, including concession agreements, EPC contracts, O&M agreements, PPAs, and government procurement frameworks.
- Lead legal due diligence processes and provide risk assessments for major infrastructure transactions.
- Manage multi-disciplinary teams and coordinate with international counsel, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Provide strategic legal input on public-private partnerships (PPPs), project financing, and regulatory compliance matters.
- Keep abreast of legal and regulatory developments in infrastructure, energy transition, and ESG-related mandates.
- Mentor junior lawyers and contribute to the development of the team and broader practice.
- Qualified lawyer with at least 8 years PQE in a reputable law firm or in-house legal team focusing on infrastructure, energy, or construction projects.
- Proven experience handling major projects across sectors such as power (renewable and conventional), transportation, utilities, and social infrastructure.
- Strong command of commercial and project finance structures.
- Familiarity with FIDIC and other standard international contract forms is highly desirable.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex matters and collaborate effectively across jurisdictions.
