- Oversee and coordinate day-to-day shipping activities for both domestic and international deliveries.
- Ensure shipments are dispatched and delivered according to schedule.
- Manage partnerships with freight forwarders, shipping agents, and transport providers.
- Negotiate shipping rates and service terms to optimize cost and efficiency.
- Track all shipments in real-time to ensure prompt delivery.
- Address and resolve any delivery disruptions or transportation issues.
- Ensure full compliance with import/export regulations, customs requirements, and internal policies.
- Maintain accurate shipping records, including bills of lading, invoices, customs forms, and shipping logs.
- Supervise the shipping team, including onboarding, training, and ongoing performance evaluation.
- Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the team.
- Collaborate with warehouse, procurement, and sales departments to synchronize shipping schedules with business priorities.
- Identify opportunities to streamline shipping operations and reduce costs.
- Implement process enhancements to improve service levels and operational efficiency.
- Prepare and deliver regular reports on shipping activities, performance metrics, and cost analysis.
- Monitor KPIs to ensure targets are met and highlight areas for improvement.
- A strong background in logistics and supply chain management within the transport and distribution sector.
- Proficiency in shipping regulations and documentation processes.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively under deadlines.
- Familiarity with logistics software and systems.
- A detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy in all operations.
- Ability to speak in English and Bahasa Indonesia fluently
