Dental Technician

- Fabricate and repair a variety of dental prosthetics, such as crowns, bridges, dentures, and orthodontic appliances, using specialized equipment and materials
- Collaborate closely with dentists to ensure accurate interpretation and execution of prescriptions and specifications
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to design and model dental restorations
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail throughout the fabrication process to ensure precise fit and aesthetics
- Conduct quality control checks on completed dental prosthetics to identify and address any defects or issues
- Stay up-to-date with the latest techniques, materials, and technologies in dental technology
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to patient cases and work orders
- Adhere to all relevant safety protocols, infection control procedures, and industry regulations
- Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree in Dental Technology or a related field
- Proven experience as a Dental Technician or in a similar role within a dental or healthcare setting
- Expertise in using dental laboratory equipment, materials, and techniques for fabricating dental prosthetics
- Thorough understanding of dental anatomy, materials, and procedures
- High attention to detail and precision in crafting and adjusting dental appliances
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software for dental applications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with dentists and patients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Problem-solving skills to address any issues with dental appliances
- Familiarity with local dental regulations and industry standards
