Today, we're driving the energy transition with more than 30,000 of the brightest minds across 54 countries.Here, what you do matters.Job Overview:The Principal Quality Inspector interprets internal or external business issues and recommends best practices. They will be tasked with solving complex Inspection-related problems and will work independently with minimal guidance. The Principal Quality Inspector may be responsible for leading Functional Teams or projects and is regarded as a specialist in the field of Inspection. As such, they must have in-depth inspection expertise and broad knowledge of the Inspection discipline within the Quality function.Responsibilities:Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Report to the PMT any quality-related issues throughout the phase of the project
  • Consult with the Project Quality Manager concerning prevention and appraisal resources and the effectiveness of the Project Quality Plan/Procedures necessary to achieve product quality
  • Develop Project Quality Plans, inspection, and test plans in consultation with Project Quality Manager
  • Supervise QC Inspectors daily
  • Ensure all inspectors and production personnel are aware of project requirements
  • Ensure a high standard of safe working practice, quality, and productivity, as well as compliance with the Code of Business Conduct
  • Provide interpretation of applicable code specifications and customer requirements; any deviation, clarification, and waivers are to be documented through the Site Query System
  • Coordinate interface with Operations, Certifying Authority, Client, and subcontractor assuring the conformity to project specifications
  • Exercise a proactive approach to the prevention of a problem by interfacing with production, engineers, and management personnel
  • Initiate Quality Planning for the project to ensure compliance the first time through proactive and preventive measures
Qualifications:Essential Qualifications and Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
  • Minimum of 15 years in quality within the related discipline
  • Familiar with international Code & Standards Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient with computers and Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
