- Conduct due diligence and assess legal risks associated with Mergers and Acquisition (M&A)
- Draft and negotiate transaction documents, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
- Contracts and Agreements
- Review, draft, and negotiate various contracts and agreements related to property projects, leasing, financing, and other business activities
- Ensure the contracts comply with legal requirements and protect the company's interests
- Compliance and Regulatory Affairs
- Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations affecting property and leasing
- Develop and implement compliance programs to mitigate legal risks
- Litigation management
- Manage and coordinate legal proceedings, disputes, and litigation matters related to operations
- Collaborate with external counsel on litigation strategy and resolution
- Corporate Governance
- Provide guidance on corporate governance matters
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures
- Hold bachelor's/Master's degree in Law with at least 5 years of experience in established law firms. Prior cases in property, warehouse management, or leasing would be a bonus
- Experience as in-house lawyer in similar sector would be a plus as long as the candidate has prior law-firm experience
- PERADI Licensed is a MUST
- Someone who understands commercial perspective and possesses business acumen
- A problem solver with can-do attitude yet maintain integrity and compliance
