We're available in more than 40 countries around the world and we work closely with respective regulators in all of these markets to be fully compliant, as we believe this is the best way to help everyone, everywhere, invest safely.About the team:This role sits within the Risk Team, which is responsible for the identification, assessment, management, mitigation, monitoring and reporting of risks associated with Luno's operations.The role in a nutshell:As a Risk Officer for the Asia-Pacific (“APAC”) region, you'll work closely with and be guided by the Lead Risk Analyst to support the development and implementation of risk management processes across the region (this role will be based in Indonesia). You'll help assess strategic-, financial-, operational- and compliance risks, assist in the enhancement of our risk frameworks, and support teams across Luno in mitigating identified risks. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys a collaborative environment and is passionate about enabling a safe and responsible crypto investment platform.Your mission will be:
  • Supporting the Lead Risk Analyst in maintaining and enhancing the Luno Enterprise Risk Management Framework (“ERMF”) and associated documentation (i.e., Risk Registers, control libraries, etc.).
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify, assess and document risks across Fleets/Wings.
  • Assisting with risk workshops, interviews and other engagement activities to gather risk information from Fleets/Wings.
  • Monitoring operational incidents and losses, and supporting incident analysis and reporting.
  • Researching emerging risks in the crypto and fintech space and contributing insights to Fleet/Wing discussions.
  • Participating in the development of risk mitigation strategies and action plans.
  • Assisting in preparing risk reports for senior management and governance forums.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, standards and best practices in risk management.
  • Documenting and communicating changes to risk-related policies and supporting Risk training initiatives.
  • Partnering with and supporting the Information Security Team to review processes in line with the company's risk appetite and ERMF.
A little about you:
  • Enthusiastic about risk management, with a strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in risk management, audit, or related roles.
  • A relevant qualification in risk management, audit, compliance, or a related field is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • A work permit for Indonesia if you are not an Indonesian citizen.
