- Responsible for all contract activities, from sourcing suppliers to negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
- Conduct research in the market to find potential suppliers and assess their abilities, pricing, and the quality of their products/services.
- Work closely with internal teams to grasp their purchasing needs and devise procurement strategies that align with the company's goals.
- Evaluate supplier proposals and negotiate contracts/terms to secure advantageous pricing, terms, and conditions.
- Oversee supplier relationships, including conducting evaluations of supplier performance, addressing any issues, and encouraging ongoing enhancements.
- Collaborate with the legal department to ensure contract adherence to legal and regulatory standards.
- Monitor supplier performance and contract compliance, promptly resolving any issues or discrepancies.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and implement strategies to streamline procurement processes and minimize expenses.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to procurement, such as agreements, purchase orders, and supplier details.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and best practices in procurement.
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, or Supply Chain management or related roles with portfolio in Smelter or Mineral Mining Projects
- Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and processes
- Strong understanding and previous exposure on Custom Clearance activities would be an advantage
- Willing to be placed in Kalimantan on Roster basis
