About the team:
  • At Aspire, Finance plays a strategic role in driving our business forward. Our Finance team consists of a wide range of crucial functions across 4 verticals: (i) Traditional Finance with Accounting, Tax, Reporting, (ii) Treasury, which is a core function for a Fintech, (iii) Data including Business Intelligence, Data Analytics and Data Engineering and (iv) Strategy & Planning, which covers strategic road map, long term planning, fundraising and FP&A. Our Finance team engages in frequent strategic data analysis, research, and modeling to provide the best financial insights for critical business decisions, helping Aspire navigate the competitive landscape and capitalize on emerging opportunities. The team also plays a key part as the first user of our Aspire software, pioneer in Finance transformation, reengineering our internal process to stay agile while maintaining the internal control in a hyper fast growing environment.
About the role:Hereby attached the list of responsibilities on this role:
  • Timely collection of Accounts Receivable balances and identifying a resolution to the principle cause of delinquency
  • Maintaining and coordinating efforts with internal personnel to resolve customer issues
  • Assists with outlining necessary actions and strategies for debt repayment
  • Issues daily report on the status of delinquent accounts and tracks collection efforts
  • Maintain daily customer contact with Customer
  • Send invoices, statements, and dunning letters via email, fax and regular mail as needed
  • Maintain and update Customer contact information, including electronic contact to ensure automation of correspondence
  • Assist with preparation of monthly collections and aging reports for communication to Sales and Upper-Management
Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with outstanding academic records
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience of debt collection
  • Knowledge of customer and business requirements
  • Can focus on multiple tasks, and remain attentive to detail
  • Able to work in a team with dynamic and constantly changing team structures and responsibilities
  • Willing to learn and grow with the company - we're growing fast!
Preferred qualifications:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Must be able to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities, backgrounds and experience
  • Credit and Collections experience preferred
