- Ensure that all maintenance activities meet the company's target for plant availability and reliability.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs in SAP PM, monitor their implementation, minimize breakdown maintenance, and initiate equipment improvement plans.
- Plan outages in advance to prepare manpower, tools, spares, and contract services as required. Monitor the progress of outage work daily to identify any potential delays.
- Develop and maintain WBSs and projected budgets for OPEX and CAPEX, and monitor expenditures against the budget.
- Develop personnel to fill any gaps between their qualifications and job requirements, and improve their knowledge and skills in accordance with their respective tasks and responsibilities, as defined in the competence matrix.
- Maintain effective communication and coordination within the maintenance team, both internally and externally with other departments and third parties. Respond to emergency work in an effective manner.
- Ensure that all personnel comply with safety and environmental regulations.
- Ensure that maintenance procedures and work instructions are available, up-to-date, and implemented.
- Develop and maintain maintenance service contracts for critical equipment. Monitor contractor performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Purchase and stock critical spares and tools in sufficient quantities to maintain the availability of critical equipment and avoid plant disruptions.
- Minimum of Engineering Degree (S1) in Mechanical or Electrical.
- Minimum 10 years working experience in the maintenance of coal fired power plant or similar heavy industrial plant with at least 5 years exposure in the managerial position.
- Strong Leadership to lead and develop maintenance team as well as to conduct coordination and communication internally within team and externally with other departments and third parties.
- Thorough knowledge on maintenance standard and practices especially in power plant which includes various methods of preventive maintenance, predictive or condition monitoring maintenance and corrective repairs for rotating and static equipment.
- Compliance to Safety and Environmental procedures and regulations.
- Knowledgeable on ISO Standards, minimum: Quality Management System ISO 9001, Environmental Management System ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 50001.
- Computer literacy in maintenance management systems (SAP), office software, and presentation software.
- English proficiency for management reporting and presentation.
