Operation Manager (Textile)

- Oversee daily operations across textile manufacturing units (weaving, knitting, dyeing, finishing, or garment production).
- Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery timelines are consistently met.
- Monitor key KPIs such as efficiency, downtime, defect rates, and cost per unit.
- Lead implementation of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or other continuous improvement programs.
- Coordinate with planning, QA, maintenance, warehouse, and procurement departments.
- Ensure compliance with safety, labor, and environmental regulations.
- Drive cost optimization, waste reduction, and process efficiency initiatives.
- Lead and develop production teams, supervisors, and line leaders to ensure performance and discipline.
- Support factory audits, customer inspections, and process documentation readiness.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Textile Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in textile or garment manufacturing, with 3+ years in an operations leadership role.
- Strong understanding of textile production processes (woven, knit, dyeing, finishing, or garment).
- Proven experience in managing shop floor operations, output planning, and manpower.
- Solid knowledge of lean tools, production metrics, and operational troubleshooting.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Computer-literate; familiar with ERP systems and production reporting tools.
- Willing to be based in or frequently visit factory locations.
