- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conducting negotiations to secure advantageous terms.
- Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve favorable agreements. Ensure that contracts comply with legal requirements and organizational policies.
- Oversee the entire procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
- Lead and manage the procurement team, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement strategies to reduce overall procurement expenses.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to establish and maintain quality standards for procured goods and services.
- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Promote and support supplier diversity initiatives.
- Utilize procurement software and technology to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, legal, and operations, to align procurement strategies with overall business goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; Master's degree or relevant certification is a plus.
- Good command of English Proficiency - Verbal and Written required.
- Proven experience in procurement, with a track record of successful contract negotiations and cost management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Familiarity with procurement software and tools.
- Ability to assess and manage risks in the procurement process.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
