The General Manager Asset Management will report directly to the COO and lead a cross-functional team responsible for the strategy, planning, governance, and execution of asset management programs across the organization. The role covers both movable (fleet, machinery, tools) and non-movable (facilities, infrastructure, buildings) assets. Key responsibilities include:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive asset management strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Oversee the lifecycle management of all physical assets including acquisition, maintenance, optimization, and disposal.
  • Establish asset performance standards and KPIs, ensuring alignment with global best practices (e.g., ISO 55000).
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, finance, and supply chain teams to ensure optimal asset utilization and reliability.
  • Lead the digital transformation of asset management through data-driven decision-making, predictive maintenance, and system integration (e.g., ERP/EAM platforms).
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, safety standards, and sustainability requirements are met in all asset management practices.
  • Manage budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships tied to asset-related investments and services.
  • Mentor and build the internal capability of asset management teams across sites.

You will have:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Asset Management, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 15 years' experience with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing asset portfolios.
  • Proven success managing both movable and non-movable assets in a complex, multi-site environment.
  • Strong knowledge of international asset management standards (ISO 55000, PAS 55) and maintenance best practices (RCM, TPM, etc.).
  • Experience leading ERP/EAM implementations and leveraging technology to improve asset performance.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to remote operations.
