Hatch is currently seeking an IE & C Engineer to join our Commissioning team in Gresik, Indonesia.This opportunity will see you working for Hatch on Freeport Indonesia’s copper smelter and precious metals refinery project in Gresik, East Java. Once fully operational, the new smelter complex could process 1.7 million tonnes of copper concentrate annually into 550,000 tonnes of copper cathode, which can be further processed into electrical wiring, pipes and car batteries, among other products. The metallurgical complex will include a Smelter, Electro refinery and Precious Metal Refinery.Hatch’s project scope covers detailed engineering, award and procurement of pre-purchased equipment, contract formation, construction, and commissioning of the Precious Metals Refinery.As the successful candidate, you will:⦁ Ensure PCOM/COM is conducted in compliance with the Safety Management Plan and all relevant Commissioning plans and procedures
⦁ Ensure timely and formal review of commissioning completions documentation and equipment at Mechanical Completion (MC) and Ready for Start Up (RFSU)
⦁ Interface with the Construction Contractor’s Field Engineers to resolve issues at site
⦁ Review of codes and specifications, test sheets, vendor installation and operation maintenance manuals
⦁ Drive the delivery of the Completions Turnover process, from the Construction team to the Commissioning team, and from the Commissioning team to the Operations team through the CCMS.
