- You participate in or lead the developments, testing and implementation of new applications, guide the project team and the client’s team.
- You participate in or lead the support and maintenance of the applications: updating applications, identifying and solving bugs, and continuously improving applications by developing new functionalities.
- You participate in or lead regular sprint meetings, connecting the business challenges with the solution requirements.
- Analytically strong: capable of understanding and explaining complex processes.
- Good at mathematics: you can easily draw the right conclusions from a large amount of data.
- Pragmatic: you apply a creative approach, and, not always the most complex mathematical solution will help our client.
- Technology driven: you have an interest in collecting, optimizing, connecting and structuring data from multiple sources.
- A bit headstrong: you think further than necessary and also give unsolicited advice.
- A completed academic master’s degree in Operations Research, (Applied) Mathematics, Industrial Engineering or a related study.
- Some work experience or interest in supply chain, logistics or ICT, gained during or after your studies.
- (Demonstrated) experience or interest in mathematical optimization software programs, simulation software (Witness), SQL, Python, R, PowerBI or Qlik.
- Experience with AIMMS is nice to have, as most of our application we support have been developed using AIMMS software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English – excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Can work independently on projects, but is as well a powerful team player who wants to work on a wide variety of projects.
- Willingness to travel, both for incidental trips to our offices in Singapore and The Netherlands, or to APAC clients.
- We welcome both starters as consultants with 0-3 years of relevant working experience.
