With our expanding product and market footprint, our company is seeking a skilled and experienced Business Intelligence Analyst.As a Business Intelligence Analyst (BIA) at Traveloka, you will work in a diverse team of Data Analysts, Scientists, and Engineers as critical partners to the business. Our focus is on enhancing and strengthening the Business Intelligence Tool and also ensuring stakeholders can do self-service analytics.We need you to be a do-er, and when you find interesting questions, you never let them sit for long without answers. You examine the available data from the lens of proactively thinking about the needs of our customers and the business, anticipating customer needs and market trends. Business Intelligence Analyst has critical roles within our business and you know that you can make the greatest impact by gaining in-depth and comprehensive domain knowledge by closely working with the Cross-functional team.In turn, we’ll provide you with a mature analytics environment to work in. Reproducibility and full version control is a default in our systems so that you can easily learn from your teammates and build on foundations that have already been developed. Our collaborative team will ensure that you’re more productive than you’ve ever been in a few short months.Our tech stack: BigQuery, R, dbt, Python, Github, Looker Studio, Tableau, Google SuiteMain responsibilitiesTableau Expertise:Utilize Tableau to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports for various business stakeholders.Serve as a Tableau administrator, managing governance of assets, user access, permissions, and ensuring the optimal performance of Tableau.Enable our key stakeholders to improve their understanding and analytical power.Data Analysis and Interpretation:Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that will aid in strategic decision-making.Translate business requirements into effective and visually appealing Tableau visualizations and also able to have good communication for storytelling to deliver data-inspired findings.Collaboration:Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and requirements.Collaborate with data engineers and other analysts to ensure the availability and accuracy of data for analysis.Reporting and Documentation:Generate regular and ad-hoc reports, documenting methodologies and findings for various business units.Maintain documentation related to Tableau configurations, data sources, and visualization best practices.Requirements1+ years of experience in data analytics with big data exposure1+ years of hands-on experience with spreadsheet, SQL, and R/Python1+ years of dashboarding experience with Business Intelligence Tools (Tableau, Looker Studio)Experience as Tableau Administrator or having prior experience in exploring or handling Tableau project, Tableau REST API, and Tableau Server Client would be a significant advantageousComfortable working with open-ended questions and potentially ambiguous problem statementsExperience in collaborating with people outside your domain to deliver impactPrior experience in working on BigQuery and dbt is a plusPrior experience in working on financial reports is a plusBachelor degree majoring in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computers/Informatics, Engineering, or Economics is a plus.If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!
