- Quality & Consistency: Prepare high-quality dishes while maintaining consistency in taste, presentation, and execution, following Capella Ubud's Standards of Performance.
- Operational Excellence: Perform all assigned tasks efficiently and uphold the culinary standards set by the hotel.
- Departmental Flexibility: Adapt to rotations within different Kitchen Division sub-departments or other hotel departments as needed to gain a well-rounded experience.
- Hotel Knowledge: Be fully familiar with all services, facilities, and culinary offerings of the hotel to support guest satisfaction.
- Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Recipe & Portion Adherence: Follow standardized recipes, portion control guidelines, and plating specifications as directed by the Chef.
- Sanitation & Storage Management: Assist with kitchen cleanliness, proper sanitation, and the organization of walk-in chillers and storage areas.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to all fire, hygiene, health, and safety policies to ensure a secure and professional working environment.
- An active student that enrolled in a College or University preferably in Hotel/Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts or equivalent program
- Excellent interpersonal skills with personable character, a team player and good at cultivating strong guest relations
- Basic command in spoken and written English.
- Great attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to multitask and prioritize
- Possess a great communication skill
- Good conflict resolution skills with decision making and judgmental skills
- Flexible regarding work schedules
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software: Word, Excel, and Power Point
