Economic success and corporate responsibility are inextricably linked as part of this process.Symrise – always inspiring more …Laboratory Technician (F&B), Indonesia (12-Month Contract)As a Laboratory Technician, you will support daily laboratory operations including maintaining lab cleanliness, managing inventory of flavors and raw materials and compounding samples for tasting and customer submission. You will also assist in technical evaluations, data management and sample dispatch processes. Additionally, this role involves system checks for product compliance and may support customer visits when required.The Position:

Maintain laboratory cleanliness and ensure proper upkeep of lab tools and equipment on a daily basis
Replenish and manage stock levels of flavors and raw materials as needed
Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records of flavors and raw materials
Compound flavors and/or prepare application samples for internal tastings and customer submissions
Support technical and consumer evaluation tests including sample preparation, equipment setup and data collection
Verify flavor status, solubility, harmonization, ingredient permissibility, halal certification and labeling using internal systems
Update and manage the flavor collection data files
Assist with sample submission and dispatch processes including packing, documentation, tracking and Sample Order Management requests
Provide support during customer visits when required

The Ideal Candidate:

Diploma in Chemical, Food Science or related discipline
Proficient in MS Office Suites and English Language (written and spoken)
A strong team player with the ability to work independently.
Demonstrates a positive outlook and excellent multi-tasking skills
Meticulous, well-organized and equipped with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to drive and deliver results
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate across cross functional teams.
Proficiency in SAP/SAP CX is an added advantage
