Commercial Operation Manager - Batam

• Work with the Yard Operations team to maintain optimal critical inventory levels for materials and consumables.
• Ensure internal stakeholders adhere to and understand contractual obligations, and also determine when processes violate regulations.
• Take charge of executing the commercial strategies to meet revenue and margin targets.
• Handle enquiries from customers and manage competitive quotations/tariffs for Batam yards.
• Follow-up the tenders with customers and agents and negotiating the Contracts/Projects.
• Supervise team of estimators and commercial invoicing officers to ensure they discharge duties in accurate and timely manner.
• Handle client management of all Batam yards, as and when required and submitting reports.
• To be able to assess all risks and make recommendations based on analysis of factors affecting a business situation.
• Provide functional and management support in the management of Change, including negotiation and settlement of Change/Variation Orders with the clients;
• Review of existing company procedures and policies on commercial management, and provide constructive feedback for refining/updating of the existing procedures.

• Bachelor degree in Business or Engineering field
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in the commercial - Shipyard.
• Conversant in Microsoft applications (Excel / Word)
• Conversant in Salesforce and/or Power BI
• Team management experience
• Strong leadership skills.
• Verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Language competency in Bahasa Indonesia is strongly preferred.
