This role is an exciting opportunity to lead the innovation and development of new ceramic products, from concept to final execution. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team, working in a supportive and engaging work culture that values creativity, collaboration, and professional growth.What you'll do:As an R&D Manager (Ceramic), you will play a pivotal role in driving the creation of innovative ceramic products. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve conceptualising unique product designs, conducting comprehensive market research, creating prototypes, and collaborating with various teams. You will also manage projects effectively to ensure timely completion within budget. Furthermore, your role will involve integrating valuable feedback from marketing teams and customers to refine our product designs.

Conceptualise and develop new ceramic product designs, emphasising creativity, usability, and aesthetics
Conduct thorough research on current market trends, materials, and techniques in the ceramics industry
Create and test prototypes, analysing their functionality and design appeal
Collaborate closely with the R&D team, design, and production staff to bring new ideas to life
Manage the development process of new products, ensuring timely completion within budget
Gather and incorporate feedback from marketing and customers to refine product designs

What you bring:The ideal R&D Manager (Ceramic) brings a wealth of experience in ceramic tiles product development or a similar role. You have proven expertise in creating innovative formulas with excellent problem-solving abilities. Your strong creative skills coupled with her knowledge of ceramic materials will enable you to drive the design process. You will also possess strong communication skills which she can utilise when collaborating with various teams. A basic knowledge of Photoshop is also required.

Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Ceramics Engineering or a related field
At least 10 years of experience in ceramic tiles product development or a similar role
Experience in R&D of new glazes, frits, and grits
Knowledge of ceramic materials and manufacturing processes
Strong creative skills with a good sense of design and aesthetics
Ability to create new innovative formulas with excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Basic knowledge of Photoshop
Strong communication and presentation skills
Fluency in spoken and written English
