Plant Manager - Building Material (Bekasi)

Lead and manage all plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, logistics, and health & safety.
Ensure the plant operates at optimal efficiency while meeting or exceeding production targets and quality standards.
Develop and implement operational strategies, KPIs, and cost control measures aligned with business goals.
Foster a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.
Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve throughput, and enhance product quality.
Oversee preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and extend asset life.
Manage plant budgets, resource allocation, and inventory control effectively.
Develop and mentor plant staff; build a high-performance team with a focus on accountability and engagement.
Collaborate with cross-functional departments (e.g., supply chain, R&D, sales, HR) to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Lead or support capital projects including new equipment installations, expansions, or upgrades.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field (Master's is a plus).
Minimum 8-10 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role (preferably in building materials).
Background in building materials, paint or ceramic industry.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems, production planning, and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, TPM).
Proven ability to lead and motivate diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
Proficient in manufacturing ERP systems and MS Office tools.
Familiarity with environmental, health & safety (EHS) compliance in an industrial setting.
