- Responsible in the preparation of financial report align with Local Accounting standard and also US GAAP
- Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors and keep communicate any progress, finding, etc. to Financial Controller; assess any changes necessary.
- Implement a robust financial management/reporting system.
- Recommend updates to and implement all approved business policies and accounting practices; improve the accounting department's overall policy and procedure manual.
- Identify variances between actual and budgeted financial results at the end of each reporting period.
- To fulfill any additional/ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business.
- Adhere to the policy and procedure related of risk management, compliance, legal and other departments as per company's direction.
- Serve as People Manager who is responsible for the overall people management related matters as per company's direction which includes hiring best talent, develop talent, and ensure employee engagement.
- Minimum 8 - 10 years of experience with experience leading the Finance & Accounting Department and experience in Insurance Industry
- Sound knowledge of Financial & Accounting
- Excellent numeracy skills with the ability to analyze and present complex data
