We are working on high throughput, real-time distributed systems that use sophisticated machine learning techniques to solve hundreds of millions of requests per day.Our mission is to offer the best-in-class products and experiences to our driver partners as to increase adoption and engagement of our services. Improve driver partner opportunities and efficiency in order to fulfill customer orders without fail, rain or shine. And to create efficient marketplaces by determining an optimal price that is both sustainable and loved by our partners and customers.We are a distributed team across three sites: Singapore, Indonesia, China. Our communication is in English, both in spoken and written form. Our team has direct end-user contact, and impact on the bottom line for drivers, merchants and thus, Grab.Get to know the role

Define test plans, test specifications, test suites, test cases as well as proposed tools for functional, security and performance testing in a programmatic manner
Understand the product/feature in-depth from the end-user point of view and the underlying implementation.
Work closely with the Product Manager, Frontend(Mobile and Web), and Backend developers to understand the feature and the implementation to derive and execute impacted feature test cases.
Debug failed test cases by analyzing logs and API responses and reporting bugs with details. Follow-up on bugs to closure.
Execute & maintain UI (Web, Mobile app) and API automation suites. Debug and correct script and data issues in automation suites.
Understand automation framework and add automation test cases for the new features and regression test cases

Qualifications

Preferably a degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology or related fields
2+ years of experience as QA Engineer and at least 1 year of experience as Automation Engineer or Software Development Engineer in Test
Have coding experience and hands-on with automation (Web, Mobile app and API automation)
Be able to design good manual test cases and automation test cases. And perform testing of iOS, Android apps, web and Backend APIs to ensure that the product meets requirements
Be able to analyze logs and API responses at the microservice level.
Knowledge of Tools: Charles, Postman, UI Automation Tools (Selenium, Appium, etc..), Testing Frameworks (Mocha, TestNG, etc.. ), object-oriented programming languages (Java, Golang) or any script languages (Python, Shell)
Be able to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced dynamic team environment
Excellent communication, collaboration and analytical skills in English
