Prepare and cook a variety of dimsum dishes using traditional techniques and fresh ingredients
Ensure high-quality food presentation and adhere to safety and hygiene standards
Collaborate with the culinary team to create new dimsum recipes and seasonal specials
Monitor inventory and assist in ordering supplies to maintain stock levels
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on dimsum preparation and techniques
Manage kitchen operations effectively to maintain a smooth workflow
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the dimsum section of a reputable restaurant or hotel
Expertise in various dimsum preparation techniques and knowledge of traditional recipes
Strong leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
Knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP principles
Diploma in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred
