
ID-Business Development Lead (B2B SaaS)

- Develop and execute a robust go-to-market and client acquisition strategy aligned with company goals, targeting mid-to-large brands, retailers and distributors clients.
- Own the full B2B sales cycle—from prospecting and qualification to proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Provide timely feedback to product and leadership teams on customer needs, market shifts, and emerging trends to inform roadmap and strategy.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities using a structured and data-driven approach.
- Create compelling, customized value propositions that demonstrate how our SaaS solutions solve marketplace pain points—from marketing attribution to product visibility and performance optimization.
- Lead commercial discussions and contract negotiations with client-side senior stakeholders—brand directors, e-commerce leads, digital marketing managers, and platform partners.
- Maintain deep relationships across marketplace platforms and ecosystem enablers to identify co-selling, co-marketing, and integration opportunities.
- Continuously identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell services and modules across existing Intrepid accounts.
- Represent the company at key e-commerce and marketing tech events to strengthen our network, stay ahead of market trends, and enhance brand visibility.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 6+ years of experience in business development, enterprise sales, or related roles - preferably in B2B SaaS, martech, or e-commerce tech (ERP, OMS, CX, Store Ops, Inventory mgmt etc).
- Strong track record in acquiring and growing enterprise accounts, ideally within the marketplace or retail e-commerce space.
- Deep understanding of Southeast Asia’s marketplace ecosystem (Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, etc.), and how brands grow across these platforms.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and influence key decision-makers.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong business acumen with a track record of quantitative analysis.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and objectives.
