This position has local and regional responsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Support Category R&D to develop and commercialize new products in local sourcing locations, and; throughout the region as appropriate.Participate as PCM lead in project meetings, collaborate with Global R&DSupport Category R&D to qualify new methods/instructions in Manufacturing by attending the execution of line trials and support Production Process Validation (PPV) and/or Production Line Qualifications (PLQ)Support formula development and qualification when changes are approved by Category R&DSupport development and implementation of process, storage, filling and cleaning instructionsEvaluates and recommend for approval raw materials (including also 2nd sources) localizing the TS-PCM requirements to local/regional needsProduction of the required products and samples for Marketing/Trade and compatibility testingEvaluation on new contractors' ability to produce SCJ formula up to SCJ standardsEnsure that raw materials/formulations are conform with local legislations/directives and SCJ corporate standards including Product Safety Regulatory Environmental requirements (PSRE)Support remote/local SCJ manufacturing sites and/or contractors under supervisionCarry out the required investigations to support desired Manufacturing changes to their manufacturing technology or manufacturing location or process improvement.Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:Bachelor's degree - Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Technology, Pharmacy, SciencesMinimum 3 to 6 years of experience in related fieldExperience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMGC) industry will be an added advantageStrong Project Management skillJob Requirements:Permanent - full time jobNo relocation eligibilityBenefits & Culture:SC Johnson is committed to providing a Great Place to Work for all its employees.
