  • Supervise and coordinate the maintenance and repair of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, elevators, and fire safety equipment.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal functioning of building systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the building and systems to identify issues and address them promptly.
  • Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians and contractors, assigning tasks and ensuring work is completed efficiently and to high standards.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for maintenance staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants regarding maintenance requests, concerns, and emergencies.
  • Maintain positive relationships with tenants by addressing their needs promptly and effectively.
  • Communicate regularly with tenants regarding maintenance schedules, building updates, and any disruptions.
  • Develop and manage the building maintenance budget, ensuring resources are allocated appropriately to meet maintenance needs and priorities.
  • Monitor expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or safety.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Oversee inspections and testing of building systems and equipment to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and maintain emergency response procedures and protocols.

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in building management or facilities maintenance, with a focus on mechanical or electrical systems.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
  • Experience managing a team of maintenance technicians and contractors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with tenants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
