Gameloft is a Vivendi company.All trademarks referenced above are owned by their respective trademark owners.Job DescriptionWe seek an experienced and imaginative Senior Game Designer to lead the development of immersive VR gameplay experiences. This role is ideal for someone who deeply understands virtual reality's unique challenges and opportunities and can craft intuitive, engaging, and memorable player journeys using VR hardware's full potential.You'll play a key role in shaping core and meta gameplay systems, driving creative innovation, and delivering polished VR titles that captivate players.Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement engaging gameplay mechanics, systems, and features optimized or VR interaction (e.g., hand tracking, spatial movement, mixed reality).
Own end-to-end feature development: from concept, prototyping, and documentation to implementation and iteration.
Collaborate with artists, engineers, UX, and audio to ensure seamless integration of design ideas into the immersive VR environment.
Champion intuitive user experiences within 3D space, including accessibility and comfort.
Create and balance core gameplay loops, progression systems, and reward structures.
Analyst player data and feedback to iterate and refine gameplay.
Mentor junior designers and help establish best practices in VR game design.
Stay current with VR trends, technologies, and competing titles to ensure innovation and competitiveness.

QualificationsRequirements:

6+ years of game design experience with at least one shipped VR title.
Deep understanding of immersive interaction design and spatial gameplay.
Strong portfolio showcasing systems, mechanics, and features tailored to VR.
Proficient with game engines, such as Unity and collaborative design tools (Confluence, Figma, etc.).
Familiarity with comfort and accessibility best practices in VR.
Ability to clearly document, pitch, and present design ideas to cross-functional teams.
Passion for VR and a player-first mindset.
High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality games
A strong team player who can give and receive constructive feedback from peers.
Excellent communication skills and the capability to present ideas confidently
Good problem-solving skills with the capability of owning and being accountable
Proficient in English, both written and spoken
