
NOC Senior Manager

- Lead, manage, and motivate the Batam NOC team to ensure effective operations
- Meet or exceed service availability targets
- Support incident response and service restoration in case of degradation or outages
- Produce and review incident reports and supervise tickets
- Coordinate maintenance, operations, and training activities
- Facilitate satellite outage rehearsals with relevant teams
- Provide detailed performance and operational reports
- Integrate new business services and tools into the NOC
- Present weekly NOC incident briefings to senior management
- Drive onboarding of new services and products
- Collaborate with engineering and customer operations teams
- Conduct regular performance reviews and develop training plans
- Set individual targets aligned with business priorities
- Chair meetings and maintain action item follow-ups
- Maintain accurate procedures, documentation, and contact records
- Identify and implement continuous improvement and automation opportunities
- Plan resources and manage the 24/7 roster
- Approve monthly time sheets and manage leave/training scheduling
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, IT, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the same or similar role, involving team leadership and 24/7 NOC operations
- Fluent in English with effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proven leadership and operational management experience
- Ability to lead through change in a dynamic environment
- Solid understanding of ITIL framework
- Strong understanding of DevOps operating model principles and workflows; hands-on experience with DevOps environments is preferred
- Strong interpersonal, coaching, and analytical skills

- Knowledge of RF, IP switching and routing (CCNA or higher preferred)

- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell to automate tasks and improve operational efficiency
- An English TOEFL certificate with a minimum score of 550 (PBT) or an equivalent qualification is a plus
- Required to be on-call as Duty Manager
- Handle operational information with confidentiality
- Must be flexible and willing to travel internationally for job-related purposes and to work abroad for short durations when required
