Senior Business Development - Global Law Firm

• Collaborate with partners and associates to develop compelling presentation materials, meeting demanding deadlines.
• Provide comprehensive support throughout the entire pitching process, including managing databases and monitoring progress and outcomes.
• Contribute to raising the internal and external profile of the Projects & Energy Transition Practice, including by refining publications/briefings, promoting thought leadership, aligning with industry bodies, prioritizing and organizing industry conferences, and collaborating effectively with PR, social media, and events teams.
• Support the development and execution of client account strategies, participating in cross-selling, opportunity pipeline expansion, pursuit management, and pricing and negotiation strategies.
• Proactively monitor market and client trends, identifying potential revenue opportunities and working with the Business Development Manager (BDM) to convert them into successful outcomes.
• Conduct external and internal research, analyze business data, and gather competitor intelligence to support client meetings, pursuits, and proposals.
• Ensure clear communication and adherence to client reporting, terms and panel agreements, and pricing structures within the firm.

• Minimum 5 years of front line Business Development experience in professional service industry preferably with experience in pitches, proposal documents and capability statements.
• Proficiency in English is non-negotiable
• Relevant areas of practice include project financing, project development, and associated legal fields, such as greenfield investments.
• Individuals with a legal background and relevant experience in infrastructure, energy, and resources, as familiarity with partnership structures is crucial.
• Ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders.
