- Take and maintains records of reservations.
- Prepare menus displays and other displays.
- Care of the equipment, operating equipment and small wares in the outlets do regular inventory liaise together with Chief Steward.
- Assist with the maintenance of a clean and orderly environment in the outlet.
- Observe the physical condition of all equipment on a daily basis, writing work orders and following up with the maintenance department on repairs.
- Ensure that breakage, pilferage and spoilage are kept to a bare minimum in every outlets operation.
- Participate and assist in monthly bar stock inventories conducted by the Cost Control Accountant.
- Ensure scheduling of the staff, pre shift briefing, attendances is on line daily.
- Ensure that the employees follow proper procedures with respect to hygiene, safety and maintain compliance with all laws and regulations.
- Ensure that staff are properly groomed and attired, including proper and complete uniforms with the nametags.
- Ensure that hotel and company policies and standards are implemented and closely monitored.
- Ensure operating hours are maintained according to standards set.
- Ensure that alcoholic beverages serves follow precisely the scope of all laws, including those with respect to non-service to intoxicated clients.
- Assure that staff members are fully informed with respect to all menu items, preparation, ingredients, and service.
- Having min. 2 years of experience in the same position with 4 star hotel
- Familiar with the operation and application of the hotel's computer/data processing system
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and training skills
- Good communication and customer contact skills
- Service oriented with an eye for details
- Ability to work well in stressful & high-pressure situations
