- Reporting to the GroupM CFO
- Key liaison with Client business leads and Business team heads across the various markets +Regional heads and GroupM Finance team -acts as a conduit
- Possess strong business acumen with a strategic mindset and a high level of integrity and professionalism
- Must be analytical with good communication and negotiation skills and able to operate independently
- Must have the capability to deal with varying business culture and adapt to a changing environment
- Expected to have broad exposure to multifunctional activities in addition to strong technical financial expertise
- Client Contracting - Regional / Global and Local Support
- Smarter client contracting - overview and promote best practice and contractual excellence
- Compliance - understanding the do' and don't's, in scope and out of scope services , reporting requirements and etc. -
- Local market engagement and support
- Prepare annual budget and quarterly reforecasts plans for Agency, which will require a detailed understanding of the direction of the business in the industry, the client portfolio and its profitability. Ongoing monitoring of the performance.
- Work to ensure that the top line growth of Agency is enhanced through our core offer and specialist units services. Extract high margins where opportunities exist.
- Work with GroupM Finance and GroupM local management to ensure investment in Agency as required
- Work alongside Client Leaders to ensure that these opportunities are maximized , consistently presented
- Pricing of services and products
- RFP, RFI, RFQ approaches
- Fee proposals
- Managing the OMI - return process
- Client profitability analysis
- Client Audit management
- Consistency in dealing with auditors wrt to process , disclosure and policies.
- Pricing and contract review for new and existing accounts ,
- Dispute escalation ,
- Fee negotiation updates for contracts over a specific value and checked against the Contract Checklist for any inconsistencies or breaches.
- Pitch Lists / Pipeline's - Update at regional level to track new business plans.
- Risk Management :
- Key vendor Contract review and guideline setting
- Linking vendor contracts with client contracts to manage risk and exposure
- Trading within approved limits
- Agency POV for
- Connect / PBU integration and utilisation
- Trading models and opportunities in key markets
- Other Specialist Services - Content etc.
- rules of engagement;
- pricing ranges,
- Approval process management for prop media.
- target setting - aligned with business opportunities
- client contract - support in securing opt ins, disclosure levels; compliance,
- workflow,
- Vendor contract structure etc.
- Training and guidance, as required.
- Support for Services contracts - as required
- Ad Serving, Software, Hardware, Hotels, Insurance, Travel, Training etc.
- Accounts receivable management and collection - ensure that Agency's aged Accounts Receivable is brought down to an acceptable minimum level. Assist in the collection where relevant.
- Acquisition and integration support as required
- Other ad-hoc special projects
- Experienced management graduate with strong experience in managing commercial or procurement .
- Skills: Strong negotiation skills, the ability to analyze trends, and proficiency in ensuring task completion are essential for success in this role.
