You will work with an award-winning company, certified as a Great Place to Work.Position OverviewThe Sales & Marketing Trainee is responsible for supporting the hotel's sales and marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, guest engagement, and revenue growth. This role involves assisting in market research, promotional activities, content creation, and client relations while gaining hands-on experience in luxury hospitality sales. The trainee will work closely with various departments, including direct collaboration with the leadership team and external stakeholders.The Role
  • Social Media Management: Work closely with the Director of Marcom, Graphic Designer, and Content Creator to curate engaging social media content.
  • Community Engagement: Handle daily responses to comments, questions, and inquiries on social media platforms.
  • Influencer & Guest Post Tracking: Monitor and track influencer collaborations and guest-generated content.
  • Performance Analysis: Assist in creating social media performance reports and tracking key engagement metrics.
  • Competitor Monitoring: Regularly analyze competitor social media strategies and provide insights through reports.
  • Event & Marketing Support: Help coordinate promotional events, press visits, and content production activities.
  • Brand Representation: Ensure all marketing efforts align with Capella Ubud's luxury brand identity.
  • Administrative Tasks: Support daily administrative duties, including maintaining databases, organizing marketing materials, and assisting with reports.
  • Collaboration & Flexibility: Work across departments and be adaptable to different sales and marketing functions as needed.
Talent Profile:
  • An active student that enrolled in a College or University preferably in Hotel/Hospitality Management, Communications or Marketing
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with personable character, a team player and good at cultivating strong guest relations.
  • Very good command in spoken and written English, additional languages will be an advantage.
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to multi task and prioritize.
  • Possess a great communication skill
  • Good conflict resolution skills with decision making and judgemental skills.
  • Flexible regarding the work schedules.
  • Strong email etiquettes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software: Word, Excel, Power Point, Social media platform: IG, Facebook, Google My Business, TripAdvisor
