Senior Planner, Aircraft MaintenanceLocation: Port Moresby, Papua New GuineaOur client, a prominent airline based in Papua New Guinea, is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Planner to join the Continuing Airworthiness Management Group (CAMG). This role plays a vital part in maintaining the safety, compliance, and efficiency of aircraft maintenance operations through effective planning and coordination.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage short-term and long-term maintenance forecasts for the fleet, including ATR and Dash-8 aircraft.Compile and deliver accurate maintenance work packs to the MRO following Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Track and requisition critical parts, rotables, and consumables in advance to ensure timely maintenance execution.Review utilization rates and adjust forecasts on a quarterly basis.Assist with processing technical records and managing backlog as required.Monitor deferrals closely and ensure proper tracking and reporting.RequirementsExperience & QualificationsMinimum 5 years of experience in technical records or aircraft maintenance planning.At least 3 years of supervisory experience in a similar environment.Training or experience with IAS and RAAS systems is strongly preferred.Proficiency with CAMP and other computerized aviation maintenance systems.KnowledgeFamiliarity with CAR Parts 91, 43, 119, 121, and 125.Strong understanding of aviation planning functions and operational needs of a busy airline.Hands-on experience in technical records management.Skills & AttributesHigh level of computer literacy and attention to detail.Strong organizational and communication skills.Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet strict deadlines.A proactive, team-oriented attitude with strong customer service standards.Why Join?Be part of a high-performing technical team ensuring the operational readiness of a vital fleet.Contribute directly to safe and compliant aviation operations in a dynamic regional environment.Competitive compensation and opportunities for career development.Apply now to take the next step in your aviation planning career with a trusted and respected airline in the region.
