1. New Product Industrialization
Receive and lead the handover of new projects from the development or customer engineering teams.
Translate customer requirements into production-ready processes, tooling, and documentation.
Manage trial builds, pilot runs, and process validations (including customer-specific requirements or audits).
Ensure successful launch into mass production with minimal disruption to operations.2. Production Engineering & Process Ownership
Develop, optimize, and standardize manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and scalability.
Define process parameters, control plans, and work instructions.
Ensure robust troubleshooting and root cause analysis for any production-related issues.
Lead engineering change implementation (ECNs) and coordinate across departments.3. Layout & Capacity Planning
Design and update production line and factory layouts to support new product introduction, capacity scaling, or efficiency improvement.
Collaborate with Industrial Engineering to validate takt time, headcount models, and equipment requirements.
Support factory expansion or re-layout projects aligned with long-term strategic plans.4. Equipment & Tooling Management
Define equipment and tooling specifications based on customer and product requirements.
Lead procurement, installation, commissioning, and qualification of production equipment.
Ensure preventative maintenance and calibration systems are in place for critical tooling.5. Customer & Compliance Alignment
Act as the technical interface between internal teams and customer requirements, especially in regulated sectors (e.g., automotive: IATF 16949; medical: ISO 13485).
Support internal and customer audits, ensuring documentation, traceability, and compliance are met.
Coordinate process validations and qualification activities.6. Continuous Improvement
Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives (5S, SMED, VSM, TPM, Poka-Yoke).
Monitor and improve key KPIs such as yield, scrap rate, OEE, and cycle time.
Lead or support cost reduction and quality improvement projects.Work in an international and diverse settingDynamic Working Environment
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related.
  • 8+ years of production or process engineering experience, ideally in automotive, electronics, or medical device sectors.
  • At least 3 years in a leadership or managerial position.
  • Experience in NPI industrialization, layout planning, and customer-driven manufacturing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and problem-solving tools (FMEA, RCA, 8D, etc.)
  • Fluent in technical documentation and process validation practices.
  • Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt)
  • Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 13485
  • Familiarity with customer-specific audit or approval processes
  • CAD proficiency (e.g., AutoCAD) for layout design
