Strategic Business Development & Sales
  • Pipeline Generation: Identify, research, and qualify new business opportunities within the mid-market and enterprise segments of the construction industry (e.g., General Contractors, Specialty Contractors, Real Estate Developers).
  • Deal Closure: Lead the entire sales cycle from initial contact and discovery through negotiation and closing large, complex SaaS subscription agreements.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Develop and manage relationships with key industry stakeholders, associations, and potential channel partners to drive market penetration.
Account Management & Growth
  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as a strategic point of contact for new key accounts, ensuring successful onboarding, high adoption rates, and customer satisfaction during the initial contract period.
  • Expansion & Upsell: Identify opportunities for expansion within current accounts through understanding evolving client needs and positioning additional modules or services.
  • Feedback Loop: Act as the voice of the customer, relaying crucial industry insights and feature requests back to the Product and Engineering teams to inform the roadmap.
Sales Development & Market Expertise
  • Targeted Outreach: Utilize prior experience in Sales Development (SDR/BDR) to execute targeted outreach campaigns (calls, emails, social) that resonate with construction-specific pain points (e.g., labor shortage, rework, margin pressure).
  • Market Expertise: Leverage deep understanding of the construction lifecycle, project roles (e.g., Project Managers, Superintendents, VPs of Operations), and technology adoption challenges within the industry.
  • Thought Leadership: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.

  • 3+ years of progressive experience in commercial roles, with demonstrable success across at least two of the following areas: Sales Development, Account Management, and Business Development/Quota-Carrying Sales.
  • Non-negotiable: Proven prior experience in selling software, technology, or complex services specifically into the Construction Industry (or related fields like Engineering, Architecture, or Heavy Industrial).
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding challenging sales and business development targets.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate the ROI of SaaS solutions to construction executives and operational leaders.
  • Strong proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
