  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to the menu specifications and standards
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the kitchen team working in your assigned section
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in your section, including proper storage of ingredients, equipment, and utensils.
  • Assist in creating new menu, menu development, recipe testing, and cost control initiatives to optimize kitchen operations.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations, ensuring compliance with HACCP guidelines and local health codes.
  • Collaborate with other members of the culinary team to ensure smooth service during peak hours and special events.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of special menus, themed dinners, and culinary promotions.
  • Stay updated on culinary trends, techniques, and ingredients to continuously improve skills and contribute creative ideas to the menu.
Job Requirements:
  • Proven experience working as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, flavor profiles, and food presentation.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Understanding of food costing and portion control principles.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the demands of the business.
