In this role, a typical day will include:Responsible for providing technical support and continuous improvement in the Equipment Engineering/maintenance and ensuring the successful operation of manufacturing, safety, productivity, validation, and team goals/targets are met while in compliance to company implemented policy (internal/global Alcon quality procedure, HSE, DI, GDP, SOP, and 5S)Responsible for all machine PM execution and machine performance. Equipment Engineering, to coordinate with related departments to ensure all of PM can be executed as per the schedule plan with very minimum impact on productivity. Review all of PM procedures and effectiveness and efficiencyAdminister Equipment EngineeringEnsure proper on-site installationsTake charge of routine servicing teams and repair TeamsAssist in planning and tracking all maintenance worksInvestigate root causes of equipment failuresManage Equipment CapabilitiesManage equipment monitoring relates to DT trending and performanceImplement solutions for equipment capability and monitoringManage all Preventive Maintenance should be executed as per scheduled plan with minimum impact on productivity and PM effectivenessAdopt new technologies to improve the equipment systemConfirm to management requirementsEnforce good safety /HSE culture and Maintenance practicesMaintain quality assurance systems related to equipmentMonitor Machines / Equipment performance data to establish good control parameterConduct technical presentationsContribute to Continuous ImprovementLead continuous improvement projectsLead working level community to explore opportunities for improvement projectInfluence Organization DevelopmentProvide guidance to otherDevelop a training program for staffWHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:Degree in Engineering or relevant fieldAt least 2 years of experience working in semi / full automated industrial environment as an EngineerProficient in communicating in English both verbally and writtenExperience on Automation Process Control, Automation Systems Maintenance, Equipment Maintenance, Failure Analysis, Hazards and Risk Control and Policy Management and Troubleshooting (Service and Repair)Experience in working with the contractor and external vendor will be an advantageKnowledge in Microsoft office Word, Power Point, Excel, Basic Minitab, Data Trending.Alcon CareersSee your impact at alcon.com/careersATTENTION: Current Alcon Employee/Contingent WorkerIf you are currently an active employee/contingent worker at Alcon, please click the appropriate link below to apply on the Internal Career site.
